Privacy Policy
Team Black Law, P.C. respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website or contacts the firm. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information you give us
If you complete a form on this site, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, telephone number, email address, the county where your matter is located, and whatever you choose to write in the message field. We ask that you not send confidential or sensitive details through a web form before the firm has confirmed that it can accept your matter.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site and the advertising services that refer visitors to it may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the advertisement or search that brought you here. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether an advertisement led to a form submission or a phone call. Google may set cookies on your device in connection with that measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through Google's own advertising controls.
How we use the information
- To respond to your inquiry and to schedule a consultation.
- To run a conflicts check before any legal advice is given.
- To understand which advertisements and pages bring people to the firm.
- To meet the record keeping obligations that apply to Indiana lawyers.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with anyone outside the firm except service providers who help operate this website, and then only to the extent needed to provide that service.
Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship
Contacting the firm through this website, by email, or by telephone does not by itself make you a client and does not make your communication privileged. An attorney-client relationship begins only after the firm completes a conflicts check and both sides sign a written fee agreement. Until that happens, please do not send anything you would not want disclosed.
Security and retention
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions are transmitted to the firm and stored with our website provider and in the firm's own systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep inquiry records for as long as the firm's professional and business obligations require.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete the information you submitted. Call the office at (812) 407-4311 or write to the address below, and we will honor the request unless a professional or legal obligation requires the firm to retain the record.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
